Bellingen Food & Wine Escape Recap

It was an honour to be part of such a special weekend with our friends at The Lodge for the first Food & Wine Escape in Bellingen.

James & Meagan Becker, from M&J Becker wines, kicked off the weekend with an in-depth wine masterclass, covering the whole journey of winemaking, from the grape to the glass. Alongside a tasty Ducks’ grazing board, it was a fantastic evening, thank you James!

The next day, we hosted a Long Lunch with Andy Allen and Darren Robertson, the beautiful weather allowed us to set up outside on the terrace, overlooking the stunning Dorrigo National Park. The table was decorated beautifully by The Botanical Connection and The Celebration Table.

The menu was designed around the delicious local and seasonal produce the region has to offer, featuring Yamba Oysters, Coffs Coast Kingfish, New Life Farm honey and pumpkin, Bellingen Beef fillet and bone marrow, Ebor Trout, local mushrooms from Maddrake Mushroom Farm and so much more!

Our chefs and front of house team had so much fun bringing this Food & Wine Escape to life, thank you to everyone for coming. We look forward to hosting many more events like this!
